Reserve Officer Ray Niblock

The Stockton Police Department is comprised of five full time Officers, one part time officer and two reserve officers.  The Department is under the direction of Chief Donald Jenkins Jr.  The Chief is assigned the responsibility of determining annual goals and objectives, setting department priorities and policy, and assists in investigating major crimes, while managing and preparing the annual budget as well as assuming patrol status when time permits.  He acts as the department liaison with federal, state and local agencies, and is the department's representative to the public.  The Chief's other internal functions include planning, personnel and the maintenance of discipline.

The patrol officers are the most visible members of the department.  They are Assistant Chief Kelly Post, Sgt. Dave Denton, Sgt. Tammy Post, and Officer Adam Bryant.  The Stockton Police Department has one part time officer, Officer Mack Palmer and two reserve officers, Officer Leo Ingelsbee, Officer Ray Niblock.  The officers are responsible for patrolling the streets and businesses & residential neighborhoods, traffic control, call response.  Officers also handle criminal investigations, animal control (they are responsible for picking up and making arrangements for stray or loose animals within the city) they are also subject to special assignments in school or community activities and parades. 

The department has a two vehicle fleet a Chevrolet Impala and a Chevrolet Blazer.  The officers strive to work with the community to solve crime, participate in community events and provide necessary crime safety tips and programs throughout the year.  As a whole the Stockton Police Dept. works to understand the importance of balancing community relations with the enforcement of laws in order to provide a quality service in Stockton.
